My values, qualifications and standards

I am a trained psychotherapist (with an MA from the University of Birmingham), and an accredited coach (trained by RD1st and accredited by Performance Coaching Ltd). I have been delivering training, and facilitating groups for over 20 years.

All my work, be it coaching, facilitation or training, is relational: I work with what is in the room. When I coach you, I will take care of the process so that you are free to direct the content; when I train you, my focus is on active learning, and using the skills and expertise you already have as a basis; when I facilitate your group, I will take you from where you are to an agreed destination.

I am an accredited Member of the Institute of Equality and Diversity Professionals.

I am a member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy Coaching Division. This membership provides me with a rigorous ethical framework.

I am working towards membership of the Association for Coaching.

I have professional indemnity insurance and I work within a supervisory framework. This means that I talk to an even more experienced professional to ensure the quality and integrity of my work.

I am accredited to deliver the Belbin Team Roles assessment tools, the FIRO-B personal development tool and the Myers Briggs Type Indicator, and I am trained to deliver the TKI conflict management tool.
